Kasumi was getting weaker. She didn't know who she was fighting but she knew it was a bad idea. This person was strong, and Kasumi knew it right away to but she attacked him anyway. Kasumi rarely lost fights and even if she came close to losing she would use her Kekei Genkai and normally finish them off but she had already usedthat technique with no sucess. Kasumi had a weird feeling that if she lost here and got captured, it may to impossible to escape. But she continued to fight, knowing there was no way to flee and that she would have to fight until she was defeated. And as the guy prepared a final move, Kasumi knew this was the end...

OOC: For those of you who are reading this post, I am temporarily Deidara. Yes, I got permission from Kairiver. XD
Deidara was soaring through the skies with his masterpiece - the clay bird. (pfft, I couldn't think of what else to call it.) It was just another ordinary day, blowing things up - in an artistic way of course - all over the Land of Waterfall. Deidara felt unamused, no one dared to battle him. That's no fun.
At the corner of his eye, he caught sight of Kasumi - member of the Akatsuki. She looked like she needed help, which was odd. Since when did Kasumi ever need help? She seemed highly capable of fighting by herself...no matter, he had to help. Perhaps he can demonstrate his art.
Deidara landed quickly near the battle between Kasumi and a strange man. He appeared to be a Hunter-nin. Deidara grabbed some clay and began to sculpt something clever.
He threw his new creation into the battlefield. It was a sort of smokescreen, distracting the two -Kasumi and the Hunter-nin- for a moment.
"Kasumi-san, perhaps you have not gotten enough rest. This man should have been an easy kill, un,"Deidara's voice echoed in the forest.

Kasumi looked up and saw Deidara flying towards her on his bird. Perfect timing, Kasumi thought. She knew that with Deidara here they would not lose, espicially since the guy Kasumi was fighting was already worn out from the fight. " Thanks" Kasumi said as Deidara distracted the man for a moment. Otherwise Kasumi would have been finished. She looked back towards the hunter-nin, making sure he didn't try to attack her again. She may have been almost out of chakra but she still could dodge. OOC: Sorry stupid computer took so long that i lost most of my muse

OOC: Gaaah, you always lose muse when I have a lot! ;_;
Deidara nodded as Kasumi gave her thanks, even though she couldn't see him in the smoke. However, it started to clear up, and Deidara could just barely make out the image of the Hunter-nin. He did look dangerous, but this battle was two against one. There was no way Deidara and Kasumi could lose.
The Hunter-nin charged at Deidara; that was not a smart move. Deidara used this moment to place small ant-shaped clay bombs on the Hunter-nin. He did so swiftly and quickly; the opponent couldn't have possibly seen that. Deidara turned to Kasumi.
"Get away!" he said whispered urgently. His bird flew low to the ground, obviously waiting for Kasumi to get on.

OOC: lol, blame my internet. I was so agrivated with it that i almost picked it up and slammed it on the table
As the smoke cleared, Kasumi barely saw Deidara attach the bombs. She wasn't even fully sure but she got ready just in case. The enemy didn't seem to notice and Kasumi was glad of that but didn't show it so the enemy wouldnt have any way to tell. Kasumi heard his warning and imedietly understood. She quickly jumped on the bird, waiting for Deidara. she looked towards the hunter-nin knowing he was finished and that Kasumi was safe. She would make sure to be more carefull next time when she chose her opponent.

OOC: Lol, aggravated~
Deidara gave a smirk.
"You'll be happy to know you are my best art today,"Deidara called out to the Hunter-nin as he jumped onto the enormous bird. The Hunter-nin Stood still, probably wondering what the heck Deidara was talking about. Deidara laughed. This was too easy, he thought.
"Katsu!"
Right now the bird was far up in the sky, a nice distance away from the explosion that probably killed the Hunter-nin. Deidara gazed at the smoke with amazement, and murmured a few things about art. He then realized that Kasumi was standing right behind him. He turned toward her, still grinning.
"So what made you feel like fighting a Hunter-nin, today, un?"questioned Deidara. He really did want to know, no matter how much it seemed he didn't. Did the Hunter-nin find her and tried to kill her?
He wondered why Kasumi wasn't partnered up with anyone...it is dangerous alone. Then again, he was alone, too.

OOC: lol, im warning you i am extremly hyper right now
Kasumi was amazed by the huge explosion. The Hunter-nin had to be dead after that, no one could survive it, espcially since he was already weak. Kasumi turned towards Deidara again as he asked his question, and though Kasumi didn't feel like explaining she did anyway. " I just felt like fightinh some one." she started, " I noticed him walking through the forest and decided to attack him. Though he almost beat me. Probably because I never used my weapon."

Kasumi answered his question. Deidara just stood quietly, thinking some things through. He gave out a chuckle and turned away.
"Hehe, I get that feeling sometimes..." He wanted to ask why she didn't use her weapon, but he couldn't. Deidara thought he asked enough already, plus he hated it when people asked him so many questions. There followed a silence.
Kasumi was a fairly new member to the Akatsuki, and Deidara never talked to her much. He new next to nothing about her. It was quite awkward around her, but he didn't dare show it in his expressions.

OOC: You made this hard to reply too XD
Kasumi, though out of battle, still kept her emotions hidden. She wasn't use to being around other people, let alone another Akatsuki member. She didn't know much about the other Akatsuki members other then the fact that they were all killed 5 years ago and revived not long ago. Kasumi wondered how they had died but never decided to ask. INstaed she asked a different question, breaking the silence. " What are you doing in the Land of Waterfall?" Kasumi asked, it was very arkward considering they never met and Kasumi was used to being alone.

OOC: I'm sorry. XD I had to make it long somehow...
Deidara stopped grinning, he missed the silence - no matter how awkward it was. He didn't turn toward her, but just crossed his arms. Deidara decided not to go into much detail in his reason why he was here.
"I'm on a mission, un,"he replied. It was the truth, though. He was sent here by Pein to kill a few ninjas who knew too much about the Akatsuki and its plans. Supposedly, they are at a hidden village.
As a matter of fact, he was over the very area where Pein told Deidara the village would be. The massive bird flew lower and lower...

" Oh," Kasumi replided. She wondered what the mission was but didn't want to cause another arkward moment by asking so she decided to wait. Soon, Deidara's bird flew lower and lower and Kasumi knew she would find out soon. If they had to fight Kasumi knew she wouldn't have a problem for she already felt her strengh returning. Kasumi concentrated on the ground below and waited to see what Deidara would do.
OOC: Sorry that was hard to reply to also

They soon landed in the middle of a forest. No one was near by, so it was a good place to plan an attack. Deidara glanced at Kasumi, but returned his gaze to the horizon.
"I suppose you want to go now, un,"he stated. He secretly wanted to do his mission by himself so he can really see how well he fought,"This is a good place to leave. There are some food stops around here where you can eat to regain your strength..."
Deidara couldn't help but smile. He didn't know why, but something about this new member was funny. Perhaps she reminded him of himself?

Kasumi was suprised when he said that she should go but Kasumi didnt want to leave, even though she was still pretty weak from the last battle. " It is fine if I stay?" she asked, " I'm in the mood for a fight and will fight whether i stay here or not" Kasumi didn't care how weak she was. She had enough strengh to fight and still had her weapon if she needed it. Besides, even if she did leave, she would probably just find another oppenent somewhere else. Kasumi also wanted to learn more about Deidara, since she knew nothing about the other Akatsuki members.

Deidara grinned. Gosh, she's so stubborn, he thought. Ah well, what harm would it do if she joined his mission? He did want to learn more about her, and find out why she was accepted into the Akatsuki in the first place...
"Hmp, fine,"he said,"Just don't mess anything up, alright?" He was joking of course, he knew she wouldn't mess up. I mean, maybe Tobi, but not her. She seemed more serious about her actions.
His grin disappeared once again. It was time to become more in tune with his mission; it was time to create art.
"I'll be attacking from above," he stated,"Are you a long-range fighter or short-distance?" He already knew the answer, but it was safe to double-check.

Kasumi nodded as he answered her. She was glad she would be able to stay and fight instead of running like a coward. Kasumi cleared her face and voice of any emotion as she always did before a fight so she didnt show any weakness to her opponent. It wasn't very hard either since Kasumi was always very serioous in battle. " Short distance," she answered. It was harder to use her weapon from far away and her Jutsu worked just fine close up. She wondered who they would be fighting but decided to wait and see instead of asking.
